An unexploded shell was found near a petrol pump in Transport Nagar area of Ludhiana city of Punjab.
"A bomb has been found from the sewage during cleaning. We have made safety precaution in the area and placed sand bags. We have informed the senior officers. The army team has been called to defuse the bomb," said a police officer.
The police have cordoned off the area and called the army to defuse the bomb.
