Queens Park Rangers striker Bobby Zamora is of the opinion that it would be crazy for the club to sack manager Harry Redknapp, as the boss' position has come under inspection following their poor start to the Premier League season.

Speculation are suggesting that Redknapp could be fired, but QPR owner Tony Fernandes has publicly backed the manager and Zamora says that the whole squad is behind their manager.

Zamora said that Redknapp has a wealth of experience and has seen it all, and added that they are all behind him, The BBC reported.

The striker said that Redknapp brought most of them in, and added that the manager has supported them and wanted them there. He said that everyone is behind him and now they have just got to do their part on a match day.

The former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur star said that the press is perhaps making more of this and they are all asked the same question. He added that it hasn't come to the point where it's panic stations, and is far from it.

Zamora said that it really is crazy to suggest Redknapp could be sacked with so many games to go, and added that one can win two games and be right back up there.

QPR have taken just four points from their opening seven league games to sit bottom of the Premier League table to usher in unwelcome fears of a repeat of two seasons ago when they suffered relegation to the Championship, the report added.
