Finnish driver Kimi Raikonnen fended off his team-mate and four-time world champions Sebastian Vettel as Ferrari fought back to make a one-two finish in the third and final practice of this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix at the Barcelona race track on Saturday.
Raikonnen, who clocked the fastest lap of one minute and 20.456 seconds, was nearly 0.242 seconds quicker than championship leader Vettel.
Three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, who made a mistake on his flying lap, was third fastest, almost four tenths behind Raikkonen, on a troubled session for Mercedes.
After Mercedes detected a water leak on his new power unit overnight, Valtteri Bottas only made it on track for the final ten minutes of the session to finish at the fourth spot ,Sport24 reported.
However, Bottas performed well in the first two practice sessions, clocking the second-fastest times behind Hamilton in both.
Like the first two practice sessions, Red Bull pair of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo were fifth and sixth, respectively.
With two wins in four races, Vettel leads the drivers' championship with 86 points ahead of Hamilton on 73 with Bottas up to third with 63 points.
