Raj Thackeray meets Fadnavis, discusses tourism and development

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis here on Sunday and discussed development of tourism in the state.

After his meeting with Fadnavis, Thackeray told the media that his main point of discussion was to develop tourism in the state.

"We decided that I will be giving a presentation on tourism in Maharashtra. The economy will grow because of tourism and the people will get employment. So, I will be giving a detailed presentation on either the 18th, 19th or 20th of this month, whichever day he is free," he said.

"Not just tourism, I will be talking to him about other issues also, including development of the state. During my election campaign, I had said that I want to work for the state, now the state government has to do it," he added.

Fadnavis is the first BJP leader to taken charge as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

The BJP won 122 of 288 seats in the Maharashtra assembly polls while the Shiv Sena finished second with 63 seats. The MNS won only one seat in the elections.
