Dr. Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidayalaya in the President's Estate marked the International Chefs Day yesterday.
On the occasion, Executive Chef of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Chef Montu Saini, Chef Manjit Singh Gill, Corporate Chef ITC and Honorary President IFCA, Chef Sudhir Sibal, Former Member club des Chefs des Chefs, Chef Sunil Gadihoke, Executive Chef, ITC Hotels and Mrs. Sunita Mehta, nutritionist imparted their culinary experiences and skills to students of Dr Rajendra Prasad Sarvodaya Vidayalaya.
In an informal interaction, they taught kids about the importance of healthy food and how it helps keep them healthy. Interactive cooking exercises with students were also organized.
Each year on the 20th of October, the World Association of Chefs Societies celebrates the International Chefs Day. The theme this year was 'Healthy Kids - Healthy Future'.
