Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday praised Sashastra Seema Bal's (SSB) efforts in providing relief during the Nepal earthquake in May this year.
Addressing the gathering at the 52nd Anniversary Day Parade of Sashastra Seema Bal in the national capital, Singh applauded the work done by the SSB in Indo-Nepal and Indo-Bhutan border.
He said he has himself, on many occasions, witnessed the exemplary way in which the SSB is carrying out its duties in the border.
The Home Minister inspected the Parade and presented the President's Police Medal for distinguished service and Indian Police Medal for meritorious service to the awardees of SSB.
