The 30-year-old actor took to his Twitter handle to laud the film and wrote, "Pushpa, I hate tears.." Just watched 'Neerja'..Absolutely phenomenal !!! Thank u for this cinematic gem."
Not only Ranveer, other Bollywood celebrities like Boman Irani, Huma Qureshi and film producer Nikhil Advani have also praised the film.

'Neerja,' along with huge critical appreciation, has collected a whopping INR 22 crore in two days in the opening weekend at the Box-Office.
The movie that also starred veteran actress Shabana Azmi as Rama Bhanot and singer Shekhar Ravjiani as Jaideep was released on February 19.
