Rashid Alvi urges all non NDA parties to unite with Congress

Congress leader Rashid Alvi has suggested all non NDA parties to unite with Congress in presenting a joint opposition to the BJP government.

Alvi stated that the regional parties have their own political style but standing along with Congress would give a boost to the entire opposition.

Alvi also said that even though the Prime Minister has asked MPs to not touch his feet, India has a cultural tradition of youngsters touching the feet of the elderly.

Commenting on the Congress party's fortunes after the recent Lok Sabha elections, Alvi expressed that the party will mark a resurgence too.
