Noted journalist M.J.Akbar on Saturday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) formally, ending all speculations about his future role in politics.
"It won't be right to say after the party president (Rajnath Singh) has already said a lot. It won't be right for me to add anything, as we do not have much time. I have come back to politics based on policies. There is a crisis which is present in front of the country. It is our duty and a mission to recover the country from the present situation," Akbar said.
The journalist turned politician added that he was ready to work under Rajnath Singh.
