Former Manchester United manager David Moyes has been announced as the new manager of Spanish club Real Sociedad, poised to take charge for the first time at Deportivo on 22 November.
Signing a contract till June 2016, Sociedad has reached a consensus with Moyes, said a statement on their website. It further said that details regarding the official presentation of new manager and technical team would be revealed on Tuesday, The BBC reported.
In a recent interview with BBC Football focus, Moyes has expressed his desire to return to management. It would give good exposure for the British Managers to coach abroad and they could come back later to their homeland with lots of experience, he added. However, he indicated that he would wait for the right job.
