Oscar Pistorius' girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, who was reportedly shot by the paralympian after he mistook her for a burglar, was afraid of him, a new documentary film has revealed.
In the new documentary 'Pistorius Trial: The Key Questions Tonight,' Reeva's parents have talked about their daughter's fear when she was in his company, the Daily Express reported.
Her mother June said in the documentary that Reeva was very afraid.
She recalled an incident where Reeva told June that she was in car with Pistorius and he was driving like a lunatic.
Although the couple had been dating only for a few months, the 26-year-old sprinter and Reeva were known as South Africa's "golden couple"
June also revealed that the couple had been fighting a lot in the short relationship, which was really very early to get into arguments with each other.
