Retiring South African Test star Jacques Kallis has made his latest record by bringing up his 200th Test catch in the second Test against India at Kingsmead, in Durban, on Friday, which is his final Test for South Africa.
The Boxing Day Test would be the last for Kallis who announced his retirement from the longest format of the game on Wednesday and he will end his career at the ground where he made his debut for South Africa in 1995 against England.
According to Sport24, JP Duminy found the edge of Ravindra Jadeja in the 108th over of India's first innings, and Kallis took the catch at first slip, diving forward, adding that with the catch, Kallis has taken 292 wickets at an average of 32.5.
It brings to an end a career of 166 matches for the all-rounder where he has averaged over 55 with the bat with 44 centuries and 58 half-centuries, the report added.
