Delhi-NCR based self-drive car rental company Revv has announced its expansion plans to double its fleet of cars from the present 300 to 700 with the festive season being round the corner.
Hassle-free and convenient platform for customers to rent cars, Revv started its operations in July 2015 in Delhi/NCR with nine cars, and today the rental car platform has 300 cars and is actively present in four cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.
The fleet comprises 60 percent SUVs, and the remaining fleet consists of sedans and hatchbacks. Revv has also allowed self-driven car companies to register their fleet on its platform, and currently 30 percent of their fleet is comprised of this.
"Our concept of 100 percent doorstep delivery service along with our maniacal focus on customer experience has already given us strong traction and repeat-user base. We will now use this launch pad to scale-up quickly and expand our services in several cities across India," said Co-Founder and CEO of Revv, Anupam Agarwal.
"The repeat usage has been a very encouraging trend for us, in addition to the sheer width of use cases for which customers are making bookings. It has also turned our thinking towards new, innovative products which are tailor-made for upcoming and large use cases," added Agarwal.
By December 2016, Revv intends to expand its operations to eight to ten cities and expand the fleet size to 1,000 by March 2017. The self-drive car rental company is also keen to focus on intercity travel and clock 7,500 transactions every month by December.
