The whole world is still waiting for the release for Ridley Scott's 'Alien
The 79-year-old, in a recent interview with Fandango, seemed to confirm that he has already written the follow up to the 'Covenant,' reports The Independent.
Scott said, "There will be another one before we kind of literally and logically, clockwise, back into the rear back head of [the original] Alien."
The movie will be titled 'Alien: Awakening'.
He adds, "It will go Prometheus, Awakening, Covenant." Appearing to confirm that, it will be either a Prometheus sequel or Covenant prequel.
The director has plans to make a further three films which would see events meet up with those depicted in his 1979 classic 'Alien'.
On a related note, Ridley Scott's 'Alien: Covenant' is slated to release on May 18. The flick stars Michael Fassbender and Katherine Waterson in lead roles.
