Pop star Rihanna has won a multi-million dollar settlement after she got a bad real estate advice from her accountant.
The Barbadian singer has won the lawsuit against her accountant Peter Gounis and the firm Berdon LLP after she went nearly broke from a bad piece of advice, the New York Post reported.
The popstar sued Gounis and Berdon LLP under her real name Robyn Fenty, where she claimed that her accountant advised her to buy a 7-million-dollar Southern California house even after her bad financial condition.
Edward Estrada, lawyer of the 25-year-old asserted that Rihanna lost 9 million dollars and she was left with just 2 million dollars at the end of 2009.
According to reports, the firm has offered the singer a settlement of more than 10 million dollars.
