Reacting to the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party's (RLSP) disappointment over the release of the BJP's first list of 43 candidates for the Bihar assembly elections, former Cabinet Minister and BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday said there was no reason for the former to be dissatisfied.

"Why should there be an issue of being annoyed? The party has talked to everyone. The BJP is contesting the election with all other parties. It is true that we are the winning alliance and that is why we have a lot of pressure. The NDA decides everything along with other parties who are in the alliance, including the issue of seat sharing. The BJP has tried its best when it comes to the adjustment of seats," Hussain told ANI.

"The greater aim is to win in the election and the sharing of seats among parties is completed. Bihar has faced various injustices and the NDA will turn those injustices into justice," he added.

RLSP leader Faisal Imam had earlier said that the seats were declared without taking his party into confidence.
The BJP yesterday declared the list of the 43 candidates, who would contest the Bihar polls. Of them, 19 are for the seats going to polls in the first phase, 15 for the second phase and 9 for the third phase.
The BJP will contest 160 of the 243 seats in Bihar, Paswan's Lok Jan Shakti Party will contest 40, Upendra Kushwaha's RLSP will contest 23 seats while Jitan Ram Manhji's Hindustani Awaam Morcha (HAM) party will contest 20 seats.
The term of the 243-member Bihar Assembly comes to an end on November 29. The polls in the state will begin on October 12 and conclude on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
