India's opening batsman Rohit Sharma has claimed that his team is not worried by what sort of pitch they will be playing on during their crunch World Cup semifinal tie against Australia on Thursday in Sydney. Earlier in the week, Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewoood opined that they were hoping to see some grass on the Sydney pitch so that their pace bowlers could take advantage of.
Basking in the confidence of an unbeaten seven-match run at the World Cup, Sharma said that they had taken 70 wickets in seven games, and it had been distributed to the spinners and the pacemen, insisting that it didn't matter how the wicket behaves, News.com.au reported.
The winner of the second semifinal clash will take on co-hosts New Zealand in the final for the coveted title in Melbourne on Sunday.
