England football star Wayne Rooney made a waste of money when he drunk his 2000 pound bottle of Chateau Petrus wine with cake, instead of having it with red meat, according to fan criticism.
According to the Mirror, the Manchester United star posted a picture of the cake at home next to the bottle before going to swish Chinese restaurant Wings in Manchester.
Chateau Petrus comes from a family estate in Pomerol, near Bordeaux, France and the Queen drank it at her wedding in 1947, the report said.
Sweetness does not go well with that type of wine, the report added.
