Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has declared that a run of eight games unbeaten in all competitions is a sign of manager David Moyes forming a new, clear understanding with his players.
According to SportsMole.co.uk, Rooney believes that United needed time to become familiar with the way Moyes works but have now turned the corner, relishing the chance to climb the table and make up lost ground.
Moyes lost three of his first six Premier League games in charge at Old Trafford, but United have since bounced back with four wins from their last five domestic matches, the report said.
Rooney said that it was up to the team to implement the new manager's ideas as best as they can, adding that they are confident at the minute, getting more clean sheets and playing with freedom.
Rooney has also returned to form in recent months, scoring seven goals for United so far this season in all competitions, the report added.
