Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader M.G. Vaidya criticised Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi here on Tuesday for making comments on Ved Pratap Vaidik that he is an RSS man.
"Rahul Gandhi should have correct information . But even if Ved Prakash Vaidik is from RSS, so what," said Vaidya.
Defending Vaidik he added that he went as a journalist which is not against the nation.
"A journalist can put his thoughts across, not everyone will accept it. It would have been good if Ved Prakash Vaidik didn't meet Hafeez Saeed. But he went as a journalist; it is not against the nation," Vaidya added.
Earlier today, Rahul Gandhi had called Vaidik an RSS man. The statement came amidst the issue of Vaidik's recent meeting with 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed in Lahore.
Vaidik has openly accepted the meet with Hafiz Sayeed , who is a declared terrorist, and has also said that he is ready to share all the information concerning his meetings in Pakistan.
