Ryan Gosling recently admitted that he has a strong feeling against being called "crumpet."

The 34-year-old also said, at the 'Lost River' premiere in Cannes that while growing up he wasn't one of the jocks girls used to like, rather he was in dance classes with girls who used to talk about other guys in front of him, which made him feel like he must not be a threat if they're being so open in front of him, even though it bothered him, News.com.au reported.

Buttery breakfast foods aside, Gosling's individuality, rather than being the generic jock type, is part of his appeal.
