Ryan Gosling is apparently in last minute negotiations to star in upcoming Star Wars movie, 'Star Wars Episode VII'.

Reports suggest that Gosling will play Luke Skywalker's son in the much-awaited sci-fi flick, the Daily Express reported.

However, a rep for the Hollywood heartthrob has denied the rumours, telling the New York Daily News that it's "not true."

The film cast includes Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.

The 32-year-old star is currently busy filming his directorial debut.
