Ryan Reynolds recently stood up to defend his daughter's name and revealed that her name is a tribute to his late father.
The 39-year-old actor and his wife Blake Lively have named their daughter James Reynolds, reports E! Online.
During a recent interview, when the actor was asked that why did he give a name that is traditionally given to boys, Reynolds explained that they chose the name as a tribute to his dad, James C. Reynolds, who died after a 20-year battle with Parkinson's disease.
The 'Deadpool' star added that in the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, he felt like they didn't break any new ground.
Reynolds also shared a milestone in his 13-month-old daughter's life, saying, that she is teething at the moment and he loves being a father.
