The four-day foreign ministerial-level meeting of the 37th South Asian Association Regional Cooperation (SAARC) has begun at Hotel Grand of Pokhara in Kaski district on Monday.
A meeting of Joint Secretary -level programme committee is being held on the first day.
The meeting will dwell on road and air network, energy development, cooperation on control of terrorism, poverty alleviation, common trade and youth unemployment, among others reports the Himalayan Times.
Delegates representing different countries of the SAARC are present in the meeting.
India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will also be attending the SAARC ministerial meet.
The standing committee of the SAARC, which is a Foreign Secretaries-level forum, will be held on March 16.
These meetings will prepare the ground for the session of Council of Ministers.
