Leaders of South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), including Pakistan's prime minister, Nawaz Sharif has been invited to witness the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi.
According to reports, BJP spokesperson, Nirmala Sitharaman is quoted to have said, " Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be on the guest list of leaders from the eight-member South Asia Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) invited to attend Modi's swearing in next Monday."
Modi will be administered the oath of office by President Pranab Mukherjee on May 26th at 6 p.m.
