Indian cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar's wife Anjali has said that the star once decided to retire suddenly as he said that he could no longer give his hundred percent to the sport.
In an interview with Harsha Bhogle on Star Sports, she revealed that Sachin had always maintained that he would call it quits when he felt that he no longer could give his hundred percent to the sport.
Tendulkar made 74 runs in what could be his last Test innings and the crowd fell into complete silence as he made his way to the pavilion.
He is playing his 200th and last Test in his home ground of Mumbai.
