A man who created a website to name his daughter has now given a normal moniker to his baby after people flooded the site with weird names.

CTHULHU, Phteven and Streetlamp Salad but unsurprisingly the couple gave their daughter, who arrived on April 7, a normal name Amelia Savannah Joy McLaughlin, the Daily Dot reported.

Amelia for long was a top contender at Stephen McLaughlin's NameMyDaughter.com, but faced challenges from several weird names.

McLaughlin later wrote that he and his wife would be making the final call for the name, adding that alas his daughter shall not be named WackyTaco692.
