Salma Hayek, who has dedicated herself to empowering women, has revealed that she doesn't preach to her 7-year-old daughter Valentina every day.
The 48-year-old activist said that Valentina is aware that her mommy fights for the rights of women, that there are many places in the world where they are not entitled to the rights, People Magazine reported.
Hayek added that her daughter, who is a "big fan" of Malala Yousafzai, understands who the Pakistani activist is and what she does, because of which, it makes Valentina appreciate her own opportunities for education.
Hayek, who can just try to live an example of the things she believes in, continued that her child knows everything she does for the women's charity Chime for Change that she co-founded with Beyonce and how important it is in her life.
