Salma Hayek's younger brother Sami Hayek was recently involved in a fatal car crash in Bel Air, which left his fellow passenger dead.
According to the police, the 40-year-old lost control of his 2006 Ford GT and he headed into wrong way traffic, crashing his car into a 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, Radar Online reported.
Sami suffered a laceration on his head and broken ribs after the incident, while his 43-year-old unidentified passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 20-year-old truck driver said that he was in pain with a broken foot following the collision.
