Sam Smith, who has been dropping a lot of weight lately, has opened up about his battle with food.
The 22-year-old singer said in an interview that from a young age food has controlled him, explaining that when he was at school and wasn't having a great time or when music wasn't going very well, he would eat and eat, the Daily Star reported.
The 'Like I Can' singer, who shed a massive 3st in a bid to rid himself of the cruel weight jibes, added that when he felt lonely he would eat as eating would make him feel better.
Smith continued that he if someone calls him a f****t it's like "I am gay and I'm proud to be gay" and so there's no issues, but if someone calls him fat, that's something he can change so that affects him more.
