Sania Saeed feels India is 'rightly' first stop for Pakistani TV industry

Sania Saeed has recently expressed that India is rightly the first stop for the Pakistani TV industry before it goes global.

The 42-year-old artist said that although it's good that the Pakistani dramas are based on real life situations, but with the repetitive content can hinder the mindset of the people, the Express Tribune reported.

The Pakistani TV industry needs to make good use of the sizeable Indian market, which could only happen if the quality of the stories is improved, she further added.

The airing of Pakistani dramas in India has opened a number of new venues for cross-border collaborations and more so, a new market, which local producers can capitalize on. Although some industry veterans hold that the popularity of Pakistani dramas in India could be a short-lived.
