The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday sent a notice to Trinamool Congress MP Vivek Gupta in connection with the Saradha chit-fund scam.

There are four FIRs against Saradha Group in which it is alleged that thousands of investors, were allegedly duped by the company officials and their associates who swindled their deposits.
The Supreme Court had in May directed the CBI to probe the Rs. 10,000 crore Saradha Scam.
