Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mukul Roy on Monday said that he has never indulged in illegal activities and was ready to assist the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Saradha scam probe.
"At this junction, I will not make any comments. One thing is very clear that I have not been ever been involved with any illegal, immoral activities," he told the media here.
"The question does not arise for any summons or a thing. I have been informed. So, I am here (Delhi) for a day or two and will go back to Calcutta and definitely at that time will meet the CBI people, he added.
The TMC leader further said he was ready to cooperate with the CBI to carry forward the probe.
Mukul Roy has been asked to appear before the CBI by the end of the week.
