Saudi-led Arab coalition forces have reportedly intercepted a ballistic fired by the Houthi militia at the south of Riyadh on Tuesday.
Houthi rebels claimed to have launched the ballistic missile targeting al-Yamama royal palace in Riyadh.
This was the third ballistic missile attack by the Houthis since beginning of November.
Last month, Saudi Arabia intercepted two ballistic missiles one of them was near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh while the other targeted the south-western Saudi province of Assir.
The Saudi-led coalition has been at war with the Houthis since March 2015 to reinstate the government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, which has been have forced into exile.
The Houthis, who are allied with Saudi Arabia's rival, Iran, still largely control the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, and much of the country's north along the border with Saudi Arabia.
