While talking about Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh said, "She's an ace actor in terms of functionality. And in terms of the creative aspect, I create tremendously acting opposite her. I found in our first movie together, 'Ram-Leela', that she is a totally honest actor, so generous and open-hearted. When you look into her eyes, you know she is in touch with you, in that moment. She is all present. It's a genuine give and take and it's not smoke in the mirror."
