Several important cases are scheduled to be heard in the Supreme Court tomorrow including the coal scam and the FTII issue.

The SC will resume hearing on a plea seeking probe against former CBI Director Ranjit Sinha, who was accused of scuttling investigations in the coal block allocation scam. The CVC has to inform the court about the assistance it could provide in the probe against former CBI Director.

The Supreme Court will also hear PIL seeking its intervention to end the FTII crisis, triggered by the appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as the chairman of the premier institute.

The Supreme court will hear a plea of BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy, who is seeking quashing of six criminal defamation complaints lodged against him for allegedly making some comments against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in his tweets.
