Scott Haze is in talks to join the cast of the upcoming Sony's Spider-man spinoff 'Venom.'
Haze, whose character details has been kept under wraps would join star cast which includes Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Reid Scott and Jenny Slate, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor will next appear in war drama film 'Thank You for Your Service' alongside Miles Teller. He was also casted in 'Midnight Special' with Michael Shannon.
Zombieland director Ruben Fleische will direct the spin-off 'Venom', which Sony hopes will be the first in a series of films based on 'Spider-Man' characters.
Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner will write the script, with Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach producing the movie, along with Amy Pascal.
Plot details of the movie have been kept top-secret at the moment.
'Venom' is set to hit theatres on October 5, 2018.
