A young Indian side, led by limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, will aim to continue their momentum and seal an ODI series win when they take on Zimbabwe in the second game of the three-match series here at Harare Sports Club today.

India is currently leading the series 1-0 following their nine-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the opening match on Saturday.

The first game saw a spectacular display from India's bowling department, with Jasprit Bumrah returning to his best ODI figures of 4 for 28.

Dhawal Kulkarni and Barinder Sran bagged two wickets each while spinners Axar Patel and debutant Yuzvendra Chahal also produced an impressive tidy performance and chipped in with a wicket each.

K.L Rahul, who became the only Indian to score a century on ODI debut in the opening match, will look to showcase the similar kind of performance as he had displayed in the previous game.

It will be interesting to see if Dhoni, who is playing in the African nation after a long gap of 11 years, will play with the unchanged playing XI or gives chance to off-spinner Jayant Yadav, opener Faiz Fazal and batsman Mandeep Singh to make their debut.

Meanwhile, it will be a do-or-die situation for Zimbabwe, who will head into the second match desperately needing a win in order to stay alive in the series.

Earlier, India have registered back-to-back series whitewashes against Zimbabwe , first a 5-0 win in 2013 before completing a 3-0 victory in 2015.
