Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli has been one couple whose 'split-patch up story' always grabbed the paparazzi flashbulbs.
So this time, when the two got back together, after a short split, they preferred keeping it low and silent, unlike their initial attempt of being open and forefront.
When the 'Sultan' actress was recently quizzed about the same by Filmfare magazine, initially denied replying, "I won't talk about it."
On being questioned further on her personal life, she started by saying, "Fair enough. I will tell you why I don't want to talk about it. I was open about my relationship because I thought that's me handling something maturely and I expected people also to handle it maturely. But I feel not everyone knows how to do that. All they are interested is in scoops. 'Oh! They met.' - If you are dating someone you will meet them na? How can meeting someone become such big news? It was just too much. As an actor, I was giving some of my best performances but in an interview, the headline would always be about my personal life."
"This is just a deterrent in my life. The kind of things that happened last year...like the kind of questions they would ask. You are there to talk about a film and they want to ask you stupid-high-school-kids-questions like how did you meet each other. Grow up man!" she continued.
"In the West too, actors date each other, are married, but when you read their personal interviews, their personal life is just a part of it. But here interviews just become about your personal life. And I'm part of entertainment industry, I can't shy away from this. Actors abroad are protected. They are not allowed to talk to anyone. But I don't have this kind of filter. Anyone can ask me anything here. So this was the decision I had to take," Anushka concluded.
On the related note, the 28-year-old actress has graced the cover of Filmfare magazine's August issue, which celebrates her successful journey in the industry; hence aptly captioned it, "TAKE THAT! Anushka Sharma on her way to No. 1."
Anushka undoubtedly is the Box Office darling as she is one actress who, within a span of eight years, has worked with the Khans, Kapoors, Kumars and the Singhs.
Story does not end here. From Yash Chopra to Karan Johar to Rajkumar Hirani- she has joined hands with all the biggies in B-Town.
On the work front, after the success of her last outing 'Sultan,' the actress will next be seen in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' on Diwali and in her home production venture 'Phillauri.'
Anushka will also be starting the shoot for Imtiaz Ali's next with Shah Rukh Khan. This will be her third movie with SRK after 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and 'Jab Tak Hain Jaan.
