New Delhi, Aug 8 (ANI): Following the trend of cover songs, Indian rapper Badshah also released a cover single of Justin Bieber chartbuster 'Sorry'.

However, the things did not turn out as expected to be and the Punjabi rapper got lashed out by the Beliebers on the social media for his creativity.

When asked whether he is happy with the response of his cover song, Badshah exclusively told ANI, "An artist always has the urge to record a great song, and I am no different. I was chilling out in the studio at night when I decided to do my interpretation of Justin Bieber's 'Sorry'."

He continued, "I infused it with another song to give it a nice twist, but probably lot of people did not like it and I probably offended lot of Justin Bieber fans because the song is already massive with more than a billion views on You Tube."

"Either the fans could not take it or probably I screwed it up", added the 'DJ Waley Babu' hit-maker.

During the interview, the desi rapper also revealed that he is a huge Justin Bieber fan and especially after his new album 'Purpose'.

Without getting affected by the hatred, the rapper is currently basking in the success of his latest club banger 'Kala Chashma' from Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif starrer movie 'Baar Baar Dekho'.

Badshah also performed the club banger live for the first time at a concert in Gardens Galleria, Noida.
