US Open Champion Serena Williams has said that it is an honour to be even with Swiss player Roger Federer after she got her 17th Grand Slam title, as many as the seven-time Wimbledon Champion has in his collection.
According to The Express Tribune, Serena remains seven shy of Margaret Court's all-time major record of 24 titles and five adrift of Steffi Graf's Open-Era mark of 22, but a fourth major title after turning 30 has made her think about collecting many, many more.
Serena said that she had never felt better, and is excited about the possibilities of winning more Grand Slams.
She said that winning a Grand Slam being older was a great honour because she didn't know if she could win more.
