American tennis ace Serena Williams has maintained her number one spot, while German Angelique Kerber has slipped to the third in the latest women's tennis world rankings issued by the WTA.
Williams remains on top with 8, 625 points and maintains a comfortable advantage of 2,850 over Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska, who retains her second spot despite not featuring at the Volvo Car Open,Sport24 reported.
Meanwhile, Kerber suffered a setback in rankings after her semi-final exit at Charleston due to a viral illness.
