Spanish golf ace Sergio Garcia said that he feels no sense of urgency about collecting Major titles despite having endured 10 top-five finishes at the breakthrough titles without ever lifting a trophy.

The world number three, who settled for second to Northern Irish golf ace Rory McIlroy at last month's British Open, will try again in his 65th major appearance starting from Thursday at the 96th PGA Championship at Valhalla.

Garcia said that he has always wanted to win at least one major title, but he would never say that he felt urgency about it, and added that obviously they are here trying to do it, week in and week out, so it would be nice, Sport24 reported.

But, he the Spaniard added that like he has always said, if he gets to 45 and has not won one, then he would probably start worrying a bit more. But hopefully, he said that won't happen.

Garcia wasted a final-round lead last week in losing a World Golf Championships event to McIlroy, who held off the Spaniard down the stretch to win his fourth major last month at Royal Liverpool.

Garcia's four major runner-up efforts also include trailing Tiger Woods in a famed 1999 PGA Championship duel and trailing Irishman Padraig Harrington at the 2007 British Open and 2008 PGA Championship, the report added.
