Seven paramilitary personnel of Pakistan's Frontier Corps (FC) were killed and three others injured in two separate attacks in Balochistan on Monday.
Six Frontier Corps soldiers were killed and two others injured after a vehicle carrying them was hit by a powerful bomb when it was passing through Khost, about 16 km from Harnai town.
The Dawn quoted a senior official as saying that the vehicle was destroyed in the powerful explosion, adding that an improvised explosive device was used in the blast, planted on a road linking Khost with the Shahrag coalmine area.
In another attack, a FC soldier was killed and another injured after gunmen opened fire on vehicles of the paramilitary force patrolling the Naag area
According to the report, the deceased FC man was identified as Mohammad Shahid and the injured as Mohammad Tariq.
