Calling the shady passage of Telangana Bill by the Lok Sabha a naked murder of democracy, the YSR Congress Party said today that Congress president Sonia Gandhi, TDP president N.Chandrababu Naidu and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy should take the blame for the division of the state as first, second and third accused respectively.

Addressing media persons, senior party leaders Dadi Veerabhadra Rao and Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said that last sessions of legislatures are generally used for adopting historical bills and announcing major policy decisions.

"But the last sessions of the Indian Parliament are used to make historical blunders," said Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, adding that the entire world is watching the politics of fraud committed on the parliament by the Indian Government.

The hush-hush passage of the Telangana bill has resulted in the naked murder of democracy and the established parliamentary conventions, said Ummareddy Venkateswarlu.

He added: "The speed with which the T bill is passed smacked of conspiracy. The same enthusiasm is not shown towards the passage of the women's reservations bill. That means they are not sincere on it. Sonia skillfully and shrewdly managed BJP also apart from Kiran Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu in cheating Telugu people."

Dadi Veerabhadra Rao demanded Kiran Kumar Reddy to reveal the details of the understanding he had with Sonia Gandhi over his enacting drama all these days over Telangana.

"When Sonia offered economic package for Telangana, Kiran had objected to it for fear of losing his job and brought the situation to this stage. He should take the blame for the present situation," Dadi said.

The Congress is of the opinion that it could do anything in Parliament if it has the Speaker and the government in its hands. The unparliamentarily practices, which began in the state assembly, are now extended to the Parliament, said Dadi.

They claimed that N. Chandrababu Naidu had diluted the NTR aspirations and is now speaking differently to hoodwink people. This is nothing but cheating the people.

Rao said. "Kiran's proposed new party works like a rehabilitation center which will later merge with Congress."

"Kiran said Sonia asked him not to quit then. That he has resigned now means, it is at her instance," said Ummareddy.
