The Shahnaz Husain Group said on Sunday that it plans to set up joint ventures with reputed global business houses and multinational companies to mark its presence in new markets.

Group chairperson and managing director Shahnaz Husain said her company has received many offers for joint ventures, but is yet to take a final call on which companies it will set up joint ventures with. She further stated that a final decision would be arrived at on the basis of favourable terms and conditions.

Husain said the company at present operates the largest chain of franchise ventures in India and abroad, besides selling a wide range of herbal products at counters set up in domestic and international markets.

She said the company is exporting herbal products to 66 countries around the world, like EU, UK, USA, UAE, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Austria, New Zealand, Russia and a host of other countries in Asian and African continents.

"We are focusing to increase our base in EU, CIS countries and also targeting African countries," she added.

Husain said, "The company has set for itself targets to increase exports by five to seven times of the current level of annual exports, by developing new innovations and appointing distributors in unrepresented new markets."

She said the company is showcasing its products at trade fairs and expositions worldwide, especially in London, China, Italy and Singapore, etc., to set up new trading channels and boost exports .

"The company has well established skin and hair care products and is continuing to add different products in different segments in the near future, as extensive R and D activities are being carried out," she said.

"Our therapeutic products from the Shahnaz Herbal Range, as well as premium products like Flower Power, Gold, Pearl, Diamond, Plant Stem Cells, Telomere and Black Diamond are in demand in the international market," she added.
