Reacting to Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed's tweet, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday said the statements and tweet of several Congress leaders only proves that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a proxy party of the Congress.
"It is very clear from his tweet that Congress's hand is with the AAP. It proves further that the AAP is a proxy party of the Congress," said BJP spokesperson Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
"Today, the BJP is known for its work. From time and again, we have set benchmarks of good governance in this country. We have been successful in winning the faith of the people," Naqvi added.
Earlier today, Shakeel Ahmed had tweeted, "Modi's criticism of Congress is understandable, but of late, he has started criticizing the AAP too.
