Shakira has ended her 'El Dorado' tour in Europe and the United States with a heartfelt message thanking her fans for all the love and support.
The 'Waka Waka' singer posted a two-plus-minute video on her Twitter handle and captioned it as, "Thank you, Europe and North America, for accompanying me on this incredible journey to El Dorado! Latin America, I'll see you very soon!"
In the video, Shakira said, "You (fans) have given me a huge mission and have made me feel useful."
Expressing how grateful she is for the concerts, she said, "You've made me feel that it's worth it to continue making music."
Earlier this year, soon after kicking off her tour on June 3, Shakira triggered a controversy for selling a necklace which resembled a sun symbol used by the Nazis. Following which, Shakira's tour company, Live Nation, took to Twitter and apologised for the same.
