Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. advises NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V. in relation to divestiture of Nexperia to a consortium of financial investors

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. acted as the legal advisor to NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V. in the multi-jurisdictional transaction involving divestiture of its standard products business, Nexperia, to a consortium of financial investors consisting of Beijing Jianguang Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Wise Road Capital LTD.

The value of the deal is USD 2.75 billion globally (approximately).

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. advised NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V. on the India leg of the transaction.

The deal was signed on June 14, 2016 and closed on February 7, 2017.
