Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and Pakistan's Punjab province Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday chaired his first parliamentary party meeting.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and around 120 lawmakers of the party graced occasion with their presence, reported Geo TV.

During the meeting, lawmakers informed Shehbaz of the issues faced by them.

They also dwelled upon "negative atmosphere", which was created following former prime minister Nawaz Sharif's statement on the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the report quoted anonymous sources, as saying.

The PML-N president promised to take their grievances to party quaid Nawaz Sharif.

While addressing the meeting, Shehbaz touted that its party PML-N fulfilled "all" its promises and propagated an era of development in its tenure.

In addition to this, he ensured that the party will take their achievements to the electorate during the upcoming general elections.
